Adult Hip Hop – Beginners

If you’ve always wanted to try Hip Hop but weren’t sure where to begin, our Adult Beginner Hip Hop class is the perfect place to start. Designed for absolute beginners and those returning to dance after time away, this class offers a relaxed, welcoming space to move, learn and grow at your own pace - with zero pressure and plenty of encouragement.

You’ll be guided through the foundations of hip hop movement, rhythm and groove with clear, step-by-step instruction and easy-to-follow routines. It’s not about getting it perfect - it’s about showing up, letting go and having fun while building confidence and learning something new.

Class Time: Thursday, 7pm to 7:45pm

This is your cue to give Hip Hop a go. Our beginner class is a judgement-free space where you can explore movement, build confidence and enjoy every step of the journey - no experience needed, just come as you are.

  • Yes, we love new members! Our classes are designed for you to experience a dance cardio workout with no prior dance experience. Most of our clients are actually self-proclaimed “non-dancers,” proving you don’t have to be a dancer to look like one.

  • If you’re new to working out, or are just returning to your fitness routine, our Dance & Define or Hip Hop classes are great place to start moving. These classes will give you a sense of our rhythms and movements without needing to know anything prior.

  • We suggest a supportive, well-fitting sneaker for all classes. Our workout is highly athletic and most classes include jumping, so definitely pick a shoe with great structure and shock absorption.

  • Our Hip Hop classes include choreographed dances that change every quarter: January, April, July, and October.
